DID
YOU
KNOW?

Did you know that engineering fees account for less than 1% of the lifecycle cost of a project?

The remaining ~99% of costs are comprised of construction/renovation costs and overall business operating costs that are incurred once the space or building is occupied (staff, financing, rent, stock/product, utilities, maintenance, etc.)

Therefore, selecting an engineer for your project based on fees alone, without taking into account specialized training and experience, places a great deal of importance on what is a relatively minor cost over the life of your business / building / operation.

LET'S TALK FEES

FIXED fee

I am able to provide clients with a fixed fee on projects where the engineering scope of work is well defined.

HOURLY fee

In order to provide the best possible service and value to clients and their projects, engineering services are typically provided on an hourly basis. That way: services provided = services invoiced, which avoids the contingency allowance required for fixed fees.
